A framed collection of 1st & 2nd World War medals relating to Simon Vass; a group of 7 medals with ribbons and 7 miniatures with ribbons, these relate to his service in the 1st World War as Lance Corporal Vass of the Cameron Highlanders No. 8762 (joined in 1906) He subsequently became Regimental Sergeant Major in 1916. He became a Captain in the 2nd World War as a Special Operations Training Officer and it is understood he also received the Distinguished Service Medal. Included in this lot are two photographs from the 2nd World War as well as two letters from his Commanding Officer listing his service.
